Ampudia is a municipality located in the southwest corner of the province of Palencia, whose location is within the region of Tierra de Campos. Los Montes Torozos enter its territory, offering a contrasting landscape in the vast plains, rocky highlands and the intricate ties between these two slopes.
Its long history of prosperity known stages in the past that have left a large heritage.
Ampudia was declared a Historic Artistic Monument in 1965, besides obtaining the C of Tourism Award in 1991 and the Provincial Tourism Award 2002.
